This Winchester manufactured fourth variation carbine style rear sight with notches numbered between 0 and 20 on the right side of the ladder section is for the pre-war model 1894 lever action carbine and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with surface rust freckling and possibly some original blue finish in the protected areas.  (file photo)
